Hi, my name is Veronika. It's spelled with "k", that causes me a lot of problems. I work in big store and my name is on my badge. People always ask me, "How do you pronounce your name?", "Where are you from?" and, "What are you doing here?" If I could change just one letter, my life would be a lot easier. I coud avoid all those annoying questions, but it is not so easy. Every time I try to say something, everyone can hear my strong russian accent:).

The k may make some problems for you, but it also makes you more memorable or special. You express yourself very well.

I understand what you mind. On Thusday was my first speech on subject college success, and, of course, I have different pronouncing. However, the other students have anderstood me. So, as result, I don't afraid any more about my pronouncing because I do well as I can. And I know that you speak correctly. And grammar is more important that the pronunciation.
